Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement

PlantMind is distributed through the Apple App Store and is licensed, not sold, to you. Your use of the app is subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Standard EULA") in addition to the terms below.

Apple grants your license to PlantMind under the Standard EULA. The Application Provider provides app-specific terms for subscriptions, privacy, disclaimers, and support. If the Standard EULA and app-specific terms conflict regarding your App Store license, the Standard EULA governs your use of the app obtained from Apple.

Summary of Apple's Standard EULA (not a substitute for the full agreement)

  • Scope of license: nontransferable license to use the app on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by Apple's Usage Rules.
  • Data: Apple or the Application Provider may collect technical data about your device and app to provide updates and support, in a form that does not personally identify you where applicable.
  • Termination: your license ends if you fail to comply with the EULA terms.
  • External services: third-party services accessed through the app are used at your own risk.
  • No warranty: the app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty to the maximum extent permitted by law.
  • Limitation of liability: Licensor liability is limited as described in the Standard EULA.
  • Governing law: depends on your location (e.g. EU/EEA users: laws and courts of your usual place of residence).

PlantMind — Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using PlantMind ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Subscription Terms

2.1 Premium Subscription

PlantMind Premium provides full access to advanced AI plant care features, including:

  • Precise plant identification
  • Disease and pest diagnosis
  • Personalized care schedules
  • Light monitoring
  • Toxicity alerts
  • Expert AI advice

2.2 Subscription Plans

  • Monthly: £3.99 per month
  • Annual: £24.99 per year (50% off)

2.3 Free Trial

New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. The trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.

2.4 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions are auto-renewable and billed through your Apple ID account. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

2.5 Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds for unused portions of the subscription period.

2.6 Restore Purchases

Use Restore Purchases in the app (same Apple ID) if you reinstall PlantMind or change devices.

3. Use License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the App
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Use the App for commercial purposes without permission
  • Remove copyright or proprietary notices

4. Disclaimer

Plant identification and care advice provided by the App is for informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in plant identification or care recommendations. Always consult with professional botanists or horticulturists for critical plant care decisions.

The App is not a substitute for professional plant care advice, especially for rare, valuable, or endangered plants.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlantMind shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the App.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
